Edith WeUtonga is a trailblazing Zimbabwean bassist, singer, and songwriter, known for her dynamic fusion of traditional sounds and global influences. Leading her band Utonga since 2010, she debuted with the acclaimed album UTONGA, which propelled her into national prominence. Her music blends Jiti, Chimurenga, and Shona folk with Rhumba, Reggae, Calypso, and Jazz, creating a rich, contemporary African sound.
